In theory, advice like "stay optimistic" or "focus on the positive" sounds helpful, but when you're actually in the midst of challenges and obstacles, it doesn’t always feel that way. That’s why we encourage our clients to focus on the things they can control.
One key approach is to concentrate on areas where you can make an impact. While there are many factors beyond your control, you do have influence over your job search and how you spend your free time. Shifting your focus to these areas can make the process feel more manageable and is a powerful way to build resilience.
